Now for a project that was all FUN FOR ME! I have admired a sample shawl in my favorite local yarn shop, as always. The pattern is also from Knitty.com. called Coquille. I wanted the EXACT yarn and colors, which happened to be Noro Silk Garden Sock Yarn. I love, love, love Noro yarns. They are so interesting in the way the colors fall as you knit. I love to stare at the skeins with my yarn friends to see which are from the same color way. It is often hard to tell! There are so many surprises when you knit with it. Sometimes the color you think is dominant, often is not. You also find a color in the design that you didn't even realize was there. I started this project in April. I love the way it turned out.
