Lime Petrie Tank- Unfinished Project Number 3

I have put this project off since last August!  I bought this beautiful Ultra Pima Cotton on sale at my favorite yarn shop!  I am always drawn to bright lime green.  I planned to make a sleeveless top I saw on Knitty.com called Petrie.  I started the project immediately hoping to be able to wear it in the warm Houston fall season.  I knit all the parts, and then had to investigate invisible seaming and hemming.  That killed it for me for a while.  I went on to other projects, of course.  I had enough of the top finished to try it on, and it didn't look the same on me as the girl in the picture.  Nevertheless, I was determined to see this project through.  I would pick up the project, after viewing youtube videos of people seaming and hemming.  Little by little, and much time in between, I finally finished the last hem while at a Friday Night Cajun Sit N Knit at Sugar Land Yarn Company.  With friendly motivation I worked till the bottom hem was complete.  I rejoiced and celebrated by looking around for more yarn!  I'll admit that after taking it home and trying it on, I am a little more pleased with it.   I intend to block it, and wear it at least once or twice. Thankfully it looks fabulous on the hanger!
